40 episodes is not a lot, but it’s more than I thought I would be able to do. This week I have on one of the top comics in the country, Mark Normand. Mark has an hour special on Comedy Central called “Don’t Be Yourself,” numerous late night appearances, and is a co-host on the podcast Tuesdays With Stories. This is a great episode. That’s all I will say about it, enjoy.
I hope the teaser at the binging of the episode make people more interested, will see. This week Cole Fotis, a local DC comic, talks about he shitty up bringing and being a problem child. Enjoy the understated mayhem of this episode.
This week on the ol’ “Pod”, I have on the GM for the Arlington Cinema Draft House and DC Comedy Theater Pete Fejeran. Pete and I sat down for about 30mins in the Green Room to talk about what its like running a Comedy Club, pros, cons, the whole nine yards. Enjoy! Oh yeah…the interview starts at 11mins if you want to skip my well thought out heart filled monologue.
I tried to have a Valentines day themed episode for this week but things don’t always go to plan. This week local comics Denise Taylor and Eddie Morrison return to talk relationships, goals, pets, first love and so on and so on. This is a marathon of a episode that you probably could listen to in two parts. We take a break at 1 hour and 6 minutes so maybe you can too, or do whatever you want, I don’t care. Enjoy this “shooting the shit” episode.
Welcome back to another week of the podcast. This episode I have on two local comic/entertainers Stephen Campbell and Kevin Lance Murray. We talk about the need to entertain, politics, money and stereotypes. Enjoy homies.
Today I have on long time friend and fellow comic Jessy Morner-Ritt. Jessy started doing comedy in DC when I did, but moved to Brooklyn New York about a year ago after graduating GW. Jessy dabbles in all types of comedy, Stand Up, Sketch and Improv. We talk comedy life, being 23 and living in the “hippest” part of town. Hope you enjoy
On this episode I have on two L.A comedians, Richie Gaines and Devan Costa. We dive into the L.A comedy scene and talk shop in general. Great episode to listen to if you are pursuing your passion. Enjoy.
Well after a little break Smiley Frown is back and as aloof as ever. This episode I have on local comic and party legend Max Wolfson. Max sat down with me to talk about his time in comedy and what he has learned from it so far. Honestly we just shot the shit for an hour and it just so happened to be on a podcast. Enjoy.
